Here are some simple steps to get started with SIPr.
- Download SIPr relevant for your platform. Note that on the dowload page you will see complete installer and possibly some patches in the form of 'gem' files. Please see online release notes at ReleaseNotes and also on the dowload page itself to install the patch if you need it. See Q26 in SipperFAQs to see how to install a patch
- Install the pre-requisites - Ruby Interpreter and Ruby Gems (links online or in Sipper Book)
- Now read first few pages of Sipper Book
- May also refer to the samples/examples provided.
- Now write a few simple test scripts of your own.
- If in doubt join the mailing list and feel free to ask around.
